As someone in the middle of their police application (only the assessment centre left now :D), I was a bit horrified to see the slating the police were getting after that. In a moment like that tempers are likely to boil over, but I think it needs consideration that in situations like that the police are doing an almost impossible job!! The people giving the police a hard time need to step back and decide whether they would do the police's job!?!
