Care to actually post a LINK to where you get your information from, because, as you may understand, your figures have been a bit sketchy at best recently. The interpretation of them might be slightly different to the one you've made.

Also, you can't make those assumptions you're making even if your interpretation was correct. A large proportion of accidents are the fault of people pulling out of junctions, when the proportion of people speeding is approximately ZERO as you're going from stationary.

Even you yourself can see that its a ridiculous suggestion to say speeding makes you vastly safer so surely just this can show you that you're making an error. You can't directly compare two sets of figures from different situations randomly without properly thinking about how they relate to each other.
