I don't know if this is the best way to deal with people on mobile phones whilst driving, but something needs to be done. Maybe back to the good old days of bobbies on the beat.

I honestly have to avoid 1 to 2 drives a weeks who are not in full control due to talking/texting on a phone. And probably see another 8-10 a week who are not paying attention who could easily cause an accident.

Personally i think more ANPR cameras to help remove the un-taxed, un-insured, un-MOT'd cars and drivers would be a good thing. And then when you get them actually punish them.
