Well, as you seem desperate for an answer to that question. I'll go for a wild guess at 1%. Of course, thats a figure I've just plucked out of the air and bears no relation at all to anything. So I don't see why you've been wanting to know this for so long...but hey, thats my guess.

You have to consider the number of people stuck in traffic, at traffic lights, driving in london, driving in a middle of a town, people on single track roads and of course the number of responsible drivers . I would say 1% may well be realistic, or may well be far far wrong. I know Itpro had a figure of around 80% of people speeding (which I think you may be getting at) but that is not all at one time. For instance, a driver may speed in their car regularly...but they aren't speeding whilst they pull off their driveway.

I don't see why you're so interested in this particular thing because you have the ACTUAL figures on road traffic deaths at your fingertips! But hey, maybe you'd prefer to deal with rumour and opinions rather than facts.
