Vic, tempted to take this off forum, the ones that jump on the "why" dont seem to keen to post on the "how"....guess they typed in "how" into google:

AND COMPUTER SAYS NO

but will give it one last go

the green beliefs are just like reglion, in its simple form it is a set of rules that if we all lived to the world would be a better place, the problem happens when it is hijacked by extremists.who dont understand the issue just the part that effects them,,we (humans) are going to die, now we need to act, not the monkey in the forest, not ocean life just the element that affects them and their offspring....it is not about Preservation it is about self Preservation.

debated this with my mum today over a rain forest alliance coffee (her choice i want the cheaper option), her forums are full of posts on where is the best place to live when the brown stuff hits the fan.........even the die hard greens dont believe the problem can be solved they are looking for places to create a green utopia

green ideals dont need rules, laws or taxes it is a way of thinking and you choose to live by them (AND YOU DONT WAIT FOR THE REST TO CHANGE, IF YOU BELIEVE YOU CHANGE), so you cant then apply them to the public, lets be honest the current thinking is the "italian job policy"

its the Self Preservation Society, its not about saving the planet it is about saving one race that lives on the planet, if you look at the globe as a whole and look at how to solve all the issues, simple answer, get rid of the biggest problem, if all the species where given a vote who do you think would be evicted

and thats why false greens get on my nerves, dont put it under a green issue, it is a "protect my own ass policy" so be honest

my views and time for the "whys" to start talking about the "how"
