All I can say is get your money out of paypal as quickly as possible. They are very dodgy indeed. My college at uni has several Ł1000s locked up in paypal as it was used for booking and paying for social events in college. Since the college gained charitable status paypal decided they didn't recognise it and suspended all actions on the account. When trying to find out what is going on the people involved just get the same automated replies apparently.
