We can drop it when you stop suggesting there is as MUCH benefit to paying extra for the Mac as there is from buying a Subaru compared to the Kia.

Actually, you don't need to repeat yourself, all you need to do is to TELL us the REAL benefits you get from owning the Mac... but EXCLUDING the VISUAL and 'kudos' (!) benefits. I exclude those as they are a GIVEN! Surely, that CANNOT be hard to do..... or is it?

Again, let me stress, it's YOUR money and it's YOUR choice... and that is how it SHOULD be! My view is that it's EXCELLENT when the rich are quickly separated from their money, particularly when it is to NO benefit for them. Jimmy Choo shoes, Rolex Watches, Aston Martins, SmallBone kitchens and Apple Macs are BRILLIANT at that job. They get LARGE sums of money out of rich people who care more about what they LOOK like to others than they do about the REAL VALUE of the object! Such expenditure gets the money out of THEIR pocket and leaves me the potential to get it into MINE!
