So.. what about the history of just a few years ago in Northern Ireland? Was THAT recent enough for this discussion? Not a lot of Muslims were involved in THAT, unfinished, madness!
You keep thinking I am defending Muslims, specifically.... I am NOT! I am asking that you read 'our own' religious texts:
Matthew 7:3
"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"
..... and in doing so, see that it's NOT O*N*L*Y the Muslims doing this stuff.... it's ALL the religions...... even 'my' ateheists!
It's YOU lot who seem to be singling out the Muslims. I am challengiing you to explain what makes THEIR examples of madness WORSE than all the OTHERS, specifically those committed in YOUR name!
I am with the rest of you... I want to stop the NUTTERS! However, I want to stop ALL the nutters.... not just the groups to which I don't belong!
My fear of the Far Right is MUCH stronger than my fear of ONE religious group of nutters!
