You have some valid points Ian as always ,but ,what you have to take into account is the fact that Muslims are intent on trying to "turn" us all and if we won't be turned then as Sharia law states we are Infidels and non-believers and as such should be put to death.
I am NOT RACIST at all,however, I do believe that if anyone is unwilling or unable to live by our rules and comply with our laws then they shouldn't have come here.
I believe in "when in Rome do as the romans do" when i go to Spain I try to speak a little Spanish,I didn't tell them bullfighting was wrong ,France likewise i didn't try and stop them eating horsemeat,Muslims have tried to introduce Sharia Law here and want us to fund Muslim schools,why ? This is Britain a Christian ,not Muslim,country.
Many faiths have lived here for generations and fully integrated, Jews for one and even though they keep there own faith they comply by British law and if they want Jewish schools they fund them themselves. When did you last hear a Jew saying " I am offended by your christmas tree" or "your piggy bank collection in your window offends Allah"
The PC brigade has got to get real and stop pandering to the minority in these cases.
If we don't stop it now in 50 years time Britain will be the British Islamic republic and most of our descendants living in Oz ,NZ or Canada.
Some of the Oz Ministers statements may seem a bit OTT but he is probably saying what most of the Oz citizens want to hear.
Aboriginees,Maoris and Native Americans were all treated dispicably but that is history and we can do nothing about our short sighted fore fathers attitudes and crimes against them. We can change what goes on in our country today.
