I think your first call is to take it up with the seller, otherwise if you can't resolve it you'll have to start the eBay/PayPal dispute process.

If the seller really did send it first class (I wouldn't have thought that such a heavy item could be send that way, but maybe I'm wrong), and if it's gone missing, he may be in difficulty in making a claim because a)First Class post only covers losses up to Ł36.00 b)PayPal will want a tracking number to be able to prove that the goods have gone missing - regular post doesn't have the sort of tracking number that they demand in order to make a refund. I speak from bitter experience here and having had things go missing, not having a full tracking number and not being able to make claim for the loss. This item should have been sent by something like Special Delivery which has got proper insurance and needs a signature - hopefully the seller's mistake shouldn't become your problem.

In the first place I'd take it up with the seller, but if he tries to wriggle out of it with waffle about trying to claim back from the post before he refunds you, just start the dispute process with eBay/PayPal for non-delivered goods. Best of luck.
