Oh.... dear God.....

Not even APPLE Claim the IWork to be COMPARABLE to 'Office'! Damn it, it's more like 'MS Works'! It's a JOKE small suite of programs that has NO depth to it! It falls over at the SLIGHTEST requirement to do complex WORK!

They market it as a SIMPLE version of the tools more in keeping with LIGHT WEIGHT work!

For example: what is my wife supposed to do with IWork if she wants to use 'Refman' (a manager tool for for citing and creating references within 'papers'). It'll WORK on a Mac.... so long as it's NOT using MS Word....!

What does she do if she wants to do statistical analysis (PROPER stuff.... not the mickey mouse stuff built INto IWork) on her captured data?

Word and Excel (and Access, and FoxPro and Sequel Server) ALL link seamlessly and elegantly into Statistica and Refman.

Stick with your IWork if you want to PLAY with your computer!
