yep proposed idea is

trade your old car in for a new one and get Ł2000 for doing so

a great example of "being green" without understanding "green"

if you want to do your bit, drive something already made, yes the engine may kick out more than modern cars but when looked at as "whole"...the design, building and promoting stages all produce locked in "green issues"

new green cars look great on paper but dont budget in the resources used to get them to market, easy way to be green is recycle and that applies to cars

and strange in the credit crushed era the same people telling you to use public transport are now looking at ways to "sweeten" buying new, votes count......and is the reason any green issues should never be trusted to them
