If the council gave everbody snow chains or winter tyres it would be far cheaper than lashing salt salt salt on the roads to rot everyones cars!
Ive been told by a friend who lives in austria that they dont us salt, just grit, lots of it, there is plenty of grit arywhere. They spread it on the slippery roads to create grip, then after the bad weather has gone they get a big road sweeper and clean all the grit up ready for next bad weather!
Itpro dont call everybody else a moron or whatever terminology you used, everyone is entitiled to their opinion, and it comes across as you always disagree with everyone whatever they say!. And Please stop with The capital LETTERS in your POSTS and shorten them down because it gets BORING by half way!!!!!
If you want an example of how pathetic brits are; the other day on BBC someone said that where they work, not brits had made it to work in the bad weather but every single eastern european had! Now how do you explain that! Its plain and simple!!!!!!!!
