the check was simple they just put an ally bar against the front wheels and i had to start the kart and take the revs to 3k (if i remember right) if the clutch engages as it should then the kart drives up onto the bar if the kart needs more revs to move then the clutch must be slipping.
dont know if any other checks were carried out post race or if anyone failed on the day.
