It wasn't that Ford didn't WANT the hand-out. They want to do a 'Barclays', instead!

The hand-out comes with SOME strings... not that many but 'some'... The Ford management knew that PART of the 'strings' was a curb on the HUGE pay/benefits to senior managements and, just like Barclays, they were NOT willing to be FORCED to cut their personal profits!
