Well if seeing is believing, here is our Mechanic from the kart track on French news showing off his water engine.

I was talking to him today in the workshop, he was making a hydrogen cell to run the engine instead of any fuel content. A large ice cream tub full of water, some sheets of old stainless, bicarb and a battery charger, seemed to be producing some form of gas. Heath Robinson would be proud.
