Gillard.

Again, you've not made it clear if this happens when you go ON line or still happens when you are OFF-line, too.

Various malware programs will help you remove it IF you have 'cuaght' something.

Microsoft Defender...... it's FREE

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/default.mspx

Adaware..... it's free

http://www.lavasoft.com/?domain=adaxis.net

Spybot.... free

http://searchdestroydownload.com/?gclid=CK_h8cDo1pcCFYoH3godTHZxDA

Euch 'infections' CAN be tedious to remove as they can 'morph' (change their 'shape'). However, if you find the name of you 'infection' you can use Google to find what is known about how to rid yourself of it even if it IS a 'morphing' malware.

It's a pain in the backside but not THAT much more than just a pain!

Let's stress the point..... Norton is the one to use if you CARE about being virus free! I care about that a LOT more than I care about losing 5% perfomance rate as opposed losing 1% performance rate. There is NO contest..... Norton does MOST of the jobs EXTREMELY well.... other TELL you they do but they just DON'T hack-it in the REAL world!

Damn it..... I just bought a 3 user licence version of Norton Internet Security for £24 from.... of ALL places... PC World! That's EIGHT QUID per copy! That is NOT bad for the market leading software!
