BL**DY H*LL, RotaxMXR: we AGREE on somthing!

Until your posting, I was the LONE voice SUPPORTING H&S!

I still feel that SOME of the effects of the laws ARE stupid but that the overall 'aims and results' HAVE been a 'good thing'!

Piper Alpha is a CLASSIC. I use the example of the deaths during the building of the Greek Olympics versus OUR building targets!

I have seen VIDEOS of 'builders' walking around the Greek site where the steel inserts in the re-inforced concrete were being assembled and welded...... while wearing FLIP FLOPS!

I also have a photo of a guy removing a side wall from the tower block, 7 floors up, standing on a plank with one end on a pile of beer crates and the other on the ROUND side of a metal barrel resing on the FLAT floor at the open face of the wall......

(slight break....)

Well, b*gg*r me! I tried to find stills from that video and I found these:-
