I just viewed a video on the BBC web site. It has NOTHING official to do with Health and Safety but it's a PERFECT example.

Others have been arguing that 'health and safety' is simply 'common sense' as though that could POSSIBLY mean that H&S was not NEEDED because NO ONE could be stupid enough to do the things that were NOT 'common sense'.

Oh yeah.....?

Just watch the guy with the angle grider and look at his 'eye protection' and watch JUST how effective it is!

And that guy is SUPPOSED to be a PROFEESIONAL involved in the safety INDUSTRY....

I'll restate.... SOME of H&S is OVER KILL...... however, please explain how it is 'over-kill' if it prevents tries to HELP IDIOTS from doing what THIS guy does! It it simply beyond belief!

I'd love to say 'only in Turkey....' but it's simply NOT true!
