some Motorsport parts dealers are working on a 100% margin on some items ,usually these days you need at least a 50% mark up on cost to give you a 20% margin on selling after business expenses, so no millionaires in Karting ,well maybe one !!

However the kart market seems to be No1 the importer, on to a few distributors in UK, then after that a cottage industry, One succesful N.West dealer started from his van and his Mum and Dads garage about 20 years ago,now importer in his own right,well done IAN

Thread above re.tyre profits in karting interests me.
Set of class specified Wets are Ł140 nationally,were being sold (9 sets) @ Ł40 a set recently by the Importer at Kartmania, reason, bought too many this year ,won't keep their performance if kept till next season !!!

Remains to be seen if they are any good next season ,bought them!!
