The people who MATTER don't CARE that Apple offer a product 'equally as good' (tee hee!)! The people who matter are the IT DIRECTORS who don't give a DAMN! They have grown UP with Excel and Word and they are INCREDIBLY 'conservative' and are NOT about to change software!

To MATCH Excel and Word, Apple will need to procude something 200% BETTER and HALF the price of the equivalent MS product..... and that is NOT goung to happen!

Open Office type software MIGHT do it but expensive Apple stuff will NOT!

Secondly, you don't even seem to know that Apple have no INTENTION of making Numbers become a DIRECT competitor of Excel! They even CLAIM that it is intended for SMALL businesses and HOME use..... not the VAST 'mega-corporation-wide' 'environment' of Excel!

Damn it: 'Numbers' plays in PUDDLES when Excel is the DOMINANT beast in the OCEAN!

Even the VASTLY biased 'AppleInsider' review clearly states that Numbers is, effectively, a BABY compared to the Excel MONSTER!

The Apple range of office software; it's there to LET you lot claim that it IS a serious system! If it was a 'full scale' product, then there would BE no market for MS stuff ported to Apple....... and even APPLE know this..... that's EXACTLY why they give you lot BOOTCAMP! Why would you NEED BootCamp if the Apple stuff WAS a serious competitor?

As I have asked before, can you tell me EXACTLY what the 'MS BackwardBootCamp' is called.........?
