Er.......... on which planet have you been living, Rich?

Of COURSE there is evidence! However, NO ONE would claim that it is INCONTROVERTIBLE PROOF! Similarly, no would (should) claim PROOF of Global Warming. All we can EVER show is EVIDENCE!

However, to put that into perspective, there is STILL no PROOF that cigarretes give you lung CANCER!

On the scale of STRONGEST evidence, first, here's the list:

1) Global Warming HAS occurred
2) Global Warming still appears to be CONTINUING
3) Man's activities have had an INFLUENCE on Global Warming
4) There is something we can DO about it, now!

However, the opposite is EASIER to 'prove':-

a) We are GOING to run out of fossil fuels and/or it will become prohibitively expensive to USE.
b) the supply of Fossil Fuels is in the hands of people that we really OUGHT to find a way of AVOIDING (Saudi, Russia, Iran etc..)
C) any lessons/skills/tools we learn/create while trying to CUT our fuel usage NOW will pay DIVIDENDS later
d) Reductions in fossil fuel WASTEAGE MIGHT reduce Global Warming.

This stuff is a NO BRAINER!
