and to top it all off... we had at least 50 sparklers lit last night... the things we do to our atmosphere!!

On a SLIGHTLY more serious note... how in gods name do the government think they should be taken seriously on climate change when they currently make us pay up to 15p a litre MORE for diesel than for petrol. This is in spite of the fact that DERV's produce LESS Co2 emissions than petrol cars and that diesel is (to my knowledge) LESS expensive to refine than petrol!

Surely if they were serious about lowering Co2 emissions they would subsidise the cost of diesel to make it a more attractive proposition!??
As it is currently i'm tempted to head back to petrol and pump out a bit more of that good ol' co2 stuff and warm up this miserable weather we're having... safe in the knowledge that its costing me less to fill up my car and peace of mind because i'm damaging the atmosphere less than those bleadin fitness fanatics walking to the shops!!! ;)
