But you have persuaded me. I accept that, based on current knowledge and understanding that the majority of the scientific community believe that we are causing to some degree climate change.

What I keep repeating though, is I don't believe that this necessarily makes it so, especially when you take into account the amount of political meddling involved.

Furthermore even if it is true I don't believe that doing anything is necessarily the best course of action and certainly making any personal sacrifices is completely futile.

As a matter of interest what would fully pursuade me would be if governments decided to take draconian and decisive action to stop climate change. Non essential travel restrictions(including commuting), energy use limits, ban on luxury goods etc. etc. and I would be all for it. But I'm not going to spend the next 40 years unilaterally living a fugal existence while everyone else blows the world resources. I look on it this way, in 100 years time we're all be dead anyway, whatever happens
