I've heard and read this before but names and places may be a little different from the original.

Bridge " We are a large vessel moving in your direction,we request you alter your position."

Reply " We are unable to comply with your request and suggest you alter course"

Bridge " I say again we are a large vessel and change your position ."

Reply " I repeat we are unable to comply with your request and strongly suggest you alter your course immediately "

Bridge " We are a large vessel and our course is set we have right of way in this shipping channel so change your position immediately"

Reply " We are unable to "

Bridge "This is the USS Nimitz an Aircraft carrier of the US Navy and demand that you alter position IMMEDIATELY "

Reply " This is the Isle of Wight lighthouse and for the last time we suggest you alter course IMMEDIATELY "
