Has anyone taken the opportunity to sit in a modern F1 show car, you might have to pay for the priviledge at some shows but it might help give a little insight into what these guys have to put up with. Stupid little mirrors too...

Back to the newly released footage. Massa should of yielded to Lewis, Fact. The corner was ultimately lost, however he very nearly made it stick.
The problem being and you can tell from the footage is the car was swept of the curb. He would of made it round on most corners without touching Lewis or bumping but the cars aren't designed for grass tracking. Try using the curbs at Lydd and you'll know what I'm talking about.

And yeah we all know he was breaking the rules by going off track but how many of us have been guilty of passing on curbs or using a bit of grass, (whilst still in the ground of course). But as soon as Felippe does it we all shout cheat.

Surely that's what part of being a racer is all about. No Señor Fangio, you can't run two wheels over the corn fields, the farmers in Modena will be most upset. Do me a favour...

For me it was a racing incident and he never intended to collect Lewis, Ever. Those claims are ludicrous! Penalty deserved - maybe I really can't say. If so, then how do you penalise someone for being over ambitious???

Put yourself in that car and in that position and really think about how you would of played it. Especially when your fighting for the most prestigous crown in world motor sport!
