Again, I thought I HAD! The answer is simple!

YES it can if the amount we reduce by cutting by 580% is the SAME (or more) than the amount produced by the extra population becasue4 that extra population will NOT gorw 'exponentially' nor 'ad infinitum'!

NO it CAN'T..... if you make the SILLY assumption that it were POSSIBLE for the population to grow exponsentially!

I go down the route of COMMON SENSE and adopt the former.

But who the HELL said that 50% was the ONLY option??? If we DO grow by double, then we need BETTER than 50%!

I simply do NOT accept the premise on which you want to base this discussion! If it WAS a 'sane' assumption, perhaps you'd like to confirmn that you believe it is even POSSIBLE for the population to grow exponentially!

2) "'proof' that " CIGARETTES are " the EXCLUSIVE cause of " lung disease (which they are NOT!)
3) ""'proof' that " DRINK DRIVING " is the EXCLUSIVE cause of " road deaths!

You leave me STAGGERED when you are unable to grasp this SIMPLE concept: NOTHING in this sort of subject can be PROVEN! For precision, 'proof' is NEVER 'evidence' which is what you ACTUALLY asked for!!!!!!!

Why can you not SEE that you ARE willing to accept that Drink Driving INCREASES the chance of road accidents but it is NOT the 'EXCLUSIVE' cause of ALL road-accidents! However, you come up with the I*D*E*N*T*I*C*A*L*L*Y CHILDISH wish where:-

How the HELL can't you see that you are doing something that you would LAUGH at children for doing!

You really ARE 'asking to meet the Wombles'!

What is simply STAGGERING is that you can't SEE that you are!

So....... your uncle DIDN'T die of cirrhosis because there is no PROOF that alcohol was the EXCLUSIVE cause of his illness! Is THAT what you are saying??????????
