OK. So we continue burning fossil fuels and develop a way to stop the greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere. What happens when the fossil fuels run out?

Regardless of which way you look at it, the only viable option is to develop an alternative to fossil fuels. The taxation of their use, or minor reductions in emissions aren't going to help at all.

You arguments constantly take a shotgun approach, spraying everybody with the same fire. I've already stated global warming is happening, and I've quite clearly stated my position. I'll state it again just in case you've missed it.

*** In my opinion, our best course of action, regardless of the causes of climate change, is to concentrate on developing alternatives to fossil fuels. Our current actions of taxing the usage of fossil fuels and targetting minor emissions reductions are next to useless. ***
