I don't want to be TOO rude but the reason you THINK there is some form of DEBATE occuring about it in the science community is becasue you are NOT reading the stuff published BY the 'scientific' community!

YES, the publications WILL include that one 'result' which says "it's ISN'T happening' but they'll also report MANY (but not ALL) of the articles which say 'it IS happening'!

The imbeciles who WRITE the stuff for newspapers and TV (plus the imbeciles who BELIEVE the newspapers/TV on the subject) cannot get their microscopic brains around the concept that 'science' will ALWAYS produce SOME contradicting results and they assume that becasue ONE result in 100 says 'no, it's NOT happening' that those results carry EQUAL weight to the 100 that yes 'YES IT IS HAPPENING'!

'Science' does NOT work like that! The results published by the majority W*I*N! It's THAT simple!

It would take too long to explain about HOW articles get selected for publishing but the REASON for this apparent bias towarsd the 'it's not happening' is BECAUSE of that 'publishing' selection. Think of it as being an example of giving EVERY view an airing..... who'd want to read 100 articles ALL saying 'yes it is happeing' people get BORED after the 10 arcticle on one subject and only report the ONE result which is contradictory! It's the 'Dog bites Man' versus 'Man bites DOG' concept

Obviously, you won''t want to read the REAL papers on the subjects but there is a BRILLIANT 'digest' which is REALLY easy to read, every week. It's called 'New Scientist'.

My 'real scientist' friends LAUGH at me for reading it and they describe it as 'The Sunday Mirror of the science world' but that is what I need...... and I suspect you do TOO!

READ the thing (it really IS written 'down' to our level and you will not find MUCH that's beyond you (except, perhaps, for some of the work on maths theory..... which is WAY beyond me!)) the rest is written so that the merely INTELLIGENT man can comprehend almost EVERY subject.

You won't have a SINGLE doubt left! Remember, I started by AGREEING with you on this subject! It looked wrong to ME, TOO! However, a few weeks reading will leave you CONVINCED! It is simply NOT open to debate anymore: we ARE in the SH***!
