As mentioned above, all this 6.8 and 7.1 mean hp is all BS....THEY ARE ALL THE SAME......a few weeks ago I dynod 6 engines, 3 were mine, and 3 were not.....they were supposedly "big" 7.1 mean hp engines.....on the dyno they were just glorified clubman engines, and generally an embarrasment......get the engine independently dyno'd, then you will get the true answer as to the engines actual performance.

I am reliably told the engines at the front of S1 are 7.3 mean hp......but what one earth does that mean when the dyno is re-calibrated every month to add 0.1hp.......your all being had over, thats what it means!
