Honestly I have no experience of the GX200, so any advice I can give is borne from the GX160 T2....first of all some of you need to be really careful with your decimal places and units of measurements! the above did make me chuckle, like Brian says I would love to see some 0.00004 feeler gauges!!...... although I prefer SI units in general, for valve lash settings good old imperial "thou" settings are best used, but we are all human, and you are doing the right thing by coming on here and asking in the first place, as nobody knows everything..... least of all me!
Anyway, running a large valve lash effectively decreases the camshaft duration, causing the intake valve to close sooner than normal, and therefore promotes more bottom-end torque for improved corner exit speed, using 8 to 10 thou on both valves is a good place to be on a GX160 T2, if your chassis and gearing is set up properly you will see your bottom end revs are quite strong, the result is your top end revs will rise by a similar amount as your kart is now being punched quite hard out from the corner.
Your clutch type is also a big factor, the Magnums slip terribly.....yuk.
