I'd have hoped for a better response than that Brian P. Assuming the Gx 200 series you refer to is RPM 200 extreme, the engines are not generator engines ( wrong crank) and as they run up to 6000 rpm they can hardly be called detuned. The builder claims that they are equalised, which could mean that some engines are adjusted down from their max potential output where others need something approaching ' the full treatment 'to achieve the same standard. If Rob is asking about GX 160 engines as raced in MSA cadet or in prokart, I can't give you a figure but I would expect the difference to be much greater than is the case with the 200 extremes. As stated elsewhere no one is reselling extremes at above the builder's list price whereas msa cadet engines are regularly advertised at prices which seem ridiculous to me. The buyers must think they are getting something 'special' for their money.
