We build GX200's kicking out 18-20HP every day and have very few issues. Going Above a 2.85'' Piston requires more maintenance as the wiesco's don't last quite as long and need replacing more frequently. Going over 18HP you really need a genuine Honda block, then above 25HP you need to be reinforcing the block either with a girdle or welding.

If built right they are great engines. We also supply over a thousand DIY customers with the race parts to do it themselves. People wouldn't bother doing it if it didn't work well.
