i'be popped some new clutches on my kart, old centres with new drums and one is banging away on a standing start and at low revs as i do a rolling start, then runs ok on the move.

the right engine has the drun teeth outwards and the left engine is reversed, should both inner settings on the clutches be the same, with the notches in the front grooves?
