I don't think there has ever been any problem with reliability etc. for any of the small honda gx engines. They all perform magnificently way beyond their intended use revs etc. It's just the inequality issue. The difference here is that the stated intention is to produce equal engines rather than the most powerful, but the extra cc.s mean they are a bit faster as well.
The senior prokart boyos have been using them for some time with nothing but favourable comment to my knowledge. Once established at a venue there should be support to ensure there is no 'abuse'. If you go to www.kartingmagazine.com and stick
'honda gx200 versus gx160' in the search box ,there is an article on the reasoning and development of the project.
Hopefully some actual user/s will come up with comment.
