Its a common issue for the earlier engines... does your engine say "SA250" on cam cover? These are the older SwissAuto built engines, the later engines with a polished cam cover were made by a company called Hoeckle, with quite a few improvements including a stronger big end set-up (i think its the bolts) to stop the issue.

Out of curiosity, what are you going to do with the engine? :) :) :) :)
