I would say your temp is a little on the high side. I try and run between 100 - 120 ish. As already said, check gearing, run a denso 31 plug, check kart isn't gripping up (go fully out on the rear, loosen rear bumper, soft axle, loosen side pods) and richen the jetting up on the carb.
