The only thing I would add is to use a ratchet strap, bungee or rope to hold the wheel in the straight ahead position, otherwise it will move and your wheels would be parallel but pointing to the side. This results in an off-centre wheel when driving which is soooooooo annoying!

I use a laser because I'm lazy and love tech but this is all a laser does.
