The big end of the Gx is white metal so needs good lubrication to last.
The Gx has no oil filter so any wear just goes around and around.

If it was mine I would change oil after every race meeting.

Some run fancy oils to lower friction, some run low levels to achieve goodness knows what???

Oil levels are dependent on the angle of the engine mounts and circuit.

I suggest GTX, half way up the filler thread, with engine level, and regular oil changes.

Oh and changing the make of oil can spoil the compression by glazing the bore.
