A huge thank you to all participants and organizers. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and would certainly go back there. We at CC had set the kart up and tuned the engines to compete with the top teams. During practice on Sat morn we unfortunately collided with a kart exiting the pit and snapped the yolk off the chassis. We had no option to change the chassis and managed to get out 5 mins before qually ended, unfortunately the transponder was not fitted to the rebuilt kart, so we started at the back of the grid. However, our team persevered and were placed 20th after the first 1hr. The highlight for me was when I was watching the race at approx 0900 Sun morn when our lad exit-ted the circuit without any brakes, launched over the weigh bridge, Scattered several people standing within the area, on landing the flying kart the lad turned directly right and demolished the fuel bay and canopy. Luckily no- one was injured, miraculously. One of the gentlemen standing there was Bob Pope and the big fella jumped into the air, pirouetted and danced his way from any danger. I would have scored him a 10 for his moves, but I sneaked away before anyone linked me to the flying driver. We spent 4hrs 44mins in the pits, this must be a record. Thanks again Drew
