Have just arrived back from Forest edge and was looking to find our other cadet dads views on running a motor in. The engine originally came from Jeff at Prokart but after Lucas flipped it a couple of weeks ago and ruined the exhaust thought it might be a good idea for a rebuild. I have changed valve spring with G4, New Rings, Honed bore and re seated valves, oil change new plug the whole lot.The engine has only had today's running so my question is how long does it take to run a motor in. coming out the corner he is lightening quick but on the straights its look likes in standing still!
