Dave S - i re looked through your post and yes you were the one that said about racing in clubman and not being impressed when a pro driver passed you....
made me chuckle but i know what you mean, i was in clubman too last year, i'm guessing the reason you weren't impressed is because you just think oh well, must be the engines....
i probably thought the same and its not good for your morale when you are racing, i am however impressed when they are doing what they are doing and they are the racers i want to be racing against...
this is the beauty of what has been created, for me to have gone back in pro class would have cost thousands, 4 engines , 2 minimum, Ł1500 each...
not anymore, for the same price as a clubman motor you are getting a monster, and better still everyones got monsters....
at whilton there was a real buzz around the padock... i've not seen this for a while...
give it a try mate... nothing too lose
