BTCC.....
They buy a sealed engine and run it for the whole season then send it back to be stripped and rebuilt. The engines last the whole season and are designed to last the duration.
This could become the same situation with Roger offering sealed engines for the season maintained and replaced if they break, but you once a year pay for them to be sent back and serviced or replaced for the new year engine.
I think roger has just been in the right place at the right time, some others will be naturally jealous or envious but I say good on him.
In terms of maintaining your own engines, I cant see it being too much of an issue as long as you send it back to Roger to be dyno'd and re sealed.
Its the only sure fire way of making sure everyone is running on a level playing field, but if anyone else can think of a fair, measured way then get it posted.
