lol... I know Bob well and greatly admire his character and what he has done for karting. But, as he would readily admit, he knows as much about Gx engines as I know about knitting!

If someone comes along and offers to increase grids, even for just a short time, then Bob would be daft not to endorse it! It's a commercial decision, plain and simple.

-and if he was privvy to the next planned step in the prokart debacle then obviously he would back such a concept.

He's a business man and the ruination of prokarting, by sp engines, meant his business was affected. Any race income stream is preferable to next to no race income.
