Whether you are anti RPM or not I dont understand how some people are not grasping the advantages of the 200s over the 160s.

Would you rather spend Ł1200 + VAT per motor for a 160 or Ł400 per motor for a 200? The Ł400 includes a clutch at the moment which makes it even more of a bargain. Less money, potential more competative and they are faster - win win situation!

The 200s will always be equal so everyone is on a level playing field, this cannnot be achieved while we continue to use the 160s as SP engines exsist. The 200s are equalised by adjusting the ignition timing and then sealed in 4 places - crank cover, flywheel cover, head and carb.

Once your engine needs to be retuned to be serviced, RPM will reset the power and torque outputs back to the original figure, lets call it 7.1hp. Even if, once rebuilt, this engine produces 6.5hp or 8.5hp it will be adjusted so that when it leaves RPM is is back to 7.1hp - equal with every other engine.

For certain events Roger will have his portable dyno for anyone who wishes to question a competitors engine. If the engine produces too much power they are DSQ, simple.

Remember the buy back will be in place so if you feel someone has a power advantage, put your money where your mouth is and buy them. You will soon realise that you have bought the same equipment.

The key test will be the sucess of the series which have committed to the class and the opinion of the drivers, which I can assure you will be only be postive, unless their pervious engine advantage has been wiped out.
