Hi guys,can anyone help me.i rebuilt our gx390 today (lapped valves,new rings all new gaskets etc) but now it runs terribly.starts no problem(electric start),will rev to 5800 but from 4500 its lumpy and popping.carb has been cleaned etc.i have a custom exhaust on it and it glows red hot(never did it before)and the exhaust valve is slightly white.i cannot turn the engine off with the switch now either.when I do stop the engine it appears to be on fire in the exhaust.any help greatly appreciated.
