This unit has a 2 plate centrifugal clutch on the crankshaft with 2-1 chain reduction to the output shaft. The bolt on the clutch should be fully tightened. If it is'nt working properly it may be wrongly assembled. Exploded view at www.engineman.co.uk. 'useful information'
