now ya talkin'... I love a bit of fishing!

btw, backtracking on the lifespan of the pads, 'This just about lasts the entire race',just shows that running a binding brake is not a good idea.

I have my doubts about your theory that the chassis twisting causes the pads to wear to a taper... more likely to be incorrect caliper alignment in the first place.
