Hi
I removed the govorner fron my gx160 and then replaced the valve springs with gx140. While i was at it i cut every other blade of the fan. My mate came round said he would clean my piston head and fit a gx200 gasket in. In the neantine i cleaned the carb. We put everythibg backtogether and it wont start. I checked the carb 3 times and its fine.i then decided to check the valve clearence which is also fine 0.04 inlet and 0.08 exhaust. Then i checked the spark plug and it gives a spark. I replaced all the oil for fresh and put new petrol in the tank. When i pull the cord nothing happens. it all seems fine but it just wont start. Could it be the on/off swith. The only way to describe whats happening is try pulling the cord when the engine swith is off. Well i get that whens its on. Could there be a loose conection? Any help would be appreciated. I spent alk day trying to get ut to work and nothing :-( please when helpibg put it in easy step by step because im new to this stuff :-)
