We had an 06 shape MS Chassis, albeit modified by Team Alpha which was alright, but thne we bought an 08 shape MS Chassis and it was worlds apart, our pace improved massively which was probably a combination of things - chassis was in better condition than the 06 and it was modified, but it highlighted the difference just a chassis can make. If you're struggling with your setup then I would too look to getting a newer MS Chassis as they're a very good second hand buy as a Rolling setup.

There is a 2010 MS on the karting.co.uk Market Place for Ł1200, and I think that even comes with engines that have jsut had a service! You never know, they could better than yours and you could sell which ever set you don't want, making that a cheap chassis.

I'd get a quick chassis first, then worry about your engines.
